Working closely with other members of the
'flight crew,' our consultants provide consistently high standards
of advise and support on a wide range of risk and insurance issues
from pre-financial close, through construction and operation of the
project. Our central focus is the use of
cost-effective risk transfer solutions (may or may not
be insurance) to protect the interests of the Financing
Parties.
Our scope of work may encompass the following
services:
- Review key Project contracts
provided to Consultant by Client with respect to insurance
requirements imposed on the Project.
- Compare contractual insurance requirements
against standard industry practice and current market availability
and advise if there are any unusual or adverse requirements that
could affect the Project’s ability to achieve or maintain
compliance with their insurance obligations.
- Review existing Project insurance policies and
certificates of insurance.
- Based on the above-reference review and best
industry practices, recommend such additional insurance coverage,
if any, as would be appropriate for the Project.
- Make recommendations with respect to the drafting
of insurance provisions in the transaction documents.
- Assist in mediating differences, which may arise
concerning the insurance requirements.
- Present findings, including
certification of the Project’s compliance with insurance
requirements as defined in transaction
documents.
